“Wow that title sounds motivating!”

You must all be thinking it is some story about two people finding their way through the misty, dark vastness of the forest of sorrow, into the bliss of the light. Well you would have been right, if it were not for the theme of this blog page, WATCH THAT thought reader!

It is about a certain species that falls in the phylum chordate division of the Kingdom Anamalia, further classified as class Aves. It must now be clear as to which animal it is, for those of you who still could not figure it out, we’re talking about birds.

The Birds-of-paradise fall under the order Passeriformes, which is one amongst the 23 orders, a sub-classification of class Aves. Why the “birds-of-paradise”? Even I ponder on this question, having the documented knowledge about this species. Who did come up with this name, anyways?

I’ll leave the answer to your very own perception and interpretation of the characteristics that you are about to find out.

In the depths of the dense rainforests of Papua New Guinea, among the tangled vines and towering trees, lives one of nature's most spectacular creations: the Birds-of-paradise. These birds, adorned with vibrant plumage that seems painted by an artist's brush, are a testament to the wonders of evolution and the power of sexual selection.

These birds not only excel in beauty but also in behavior. They are masters of mimicry, imitating the sounds of the forest to attract mates and deceive rivals. Their calls echo through the canopy, blending with the symphony of the rainforest in a harmonious display of nature's diversity.

The males perform a special dance, in an arena picked meticulously so as to impress a female with cleanliness of the place; even a smallest branch in the performance stage is not acceptable. It has to be perfect!

The performance is no less than a marvel. Could you have imagined this creativity to be displayed by a bird, let alone the desperation to mate?

Well I guess, that is the law of the nature, be it any species…
